Subsequently, the mixture is sent into a twin-screw extruder and melted and mixed within the temperature range suitable for polypropylene processing, allowing the colorant to fully integrate into the carrier resin. Finally, after cooling and shaping, it is cut into granules to form granular finished products. During production, the extrusion temperature and screw speed must be strictly controlled to prevent the colorant from becoming ineffective due to excessively high temperatures or the coloring effect from being affected by uneven mixing.

In terms of performance, the key indicators of polypropylene masterbatch focus on color stability and processing adaptability. It needs to have good temperature resistance, suitable for the processing temperature range of polypropylene from 180 to 230℃, to ensure stable performance during the coloring process. Color fastness is a core requirement, including lightfastness and wash fastness. When used in polypropylene textile products, it needs to resist fading caused by sun exposure and washing to maintain the color for a long time. At the same time, the compatibility with polypropylene must meet the standards to avoid affecting the mechanical properties of polypropylene products, such as breaking strength and toughness, due to component conflicts.
